whose brilliance in the field of battle and as Emperor of France has
made him perhaps the most important figure of post-Renaissance
Europe.
Letter signed as Emperor dated 7/7/1811 to General Henri Clarke,
the Duke of Feltre, his Minister of War.
Untranslated but military orders which Clarke acknowledges receiving
and forwarding by attaching a note at the bottom.
Framed with a beautiful period print of Horace Vernet's painting of
Napoleon at the Battle of Wagram.
